Products Description
Aloe vera extract is derived from the leaves of common Aloe species such as Aloe vera (family Liliaceae) and Aloe ferox, and is a natural plant extract. It is generally made from fresh or dried aloe vera leaves through conventional extraction processes including extraction, concentration, impurity removal, and drying. This type of extract retains the natural components of aloe vera leaves and has a relatively rich composition, encompassing anthraquinones, polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and other plant-native components. Aloin is the key, characteristic monomeric component and an important indicator for classifying aloe vera extracts.
Aloin20%, also known as aloin glycoside, is a unique anthraquinone monomeric compound found naturally in aloe vera leaves and common aloe vera extracts. It includes different monomeric structures such as aloin A, aloin B, and isoaloin. Aloin 20% is a standardized product obtained through further refining from common aloe vera extracts, representing a specification of aloe vera extract with enriched monomer content. Based on crude aloe vera extract, this product undergoes processes such as separation, purification, and enrichment to remove impurities and adjust the proportion of core components, resulting in a stable aloin content of 20% in the final product. Compared to ordinary aloe vera extracts with fluctuating component content, this product has clearly defined component content, more stable quality between batches, higher concentration of individual components, and better overall uniformity. It is a refined raw material with standardized and quantified core characteristic components.

Function
- Intestinal laxative effect: As a natural anthraquinone compound, aloin is the core material basis for the laxative property of aloe. It acts gently on the colonic mucosa to stimulate peristalsis of intestinal smooth muscle, while promoting water secretion in the intestinal lumen to soften stool, achieving a mild laxative and bowel-relieving effect with targeted action.
- Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity: Studies have shown that it exerts certain inhibitory effects on a variety of common pathogens including Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. Meanwhile, it can alleviate local inflammatory response and relieve discomforts such as redness, swelling and itching by inhibiting the release of related inflammatory factors.
- Antioxidant activity: It has moderate free radical scavenging capacity, which can reduce oxidative stress damage to body cells and tissues, and helps delay tissue aging to a certain extent.
- Tyrosinase inhibition: In vitro study data indicates that aloin has a certain inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity, which can reduce melanin production and deposition to some degree.
Application
- Dietary supplements & functional food: It can be added as a raw material to dietary supplements, compatible with multiple dosage forms including hard capsules, tablets, oral liquids and herbal granules. It can also be used as a compound component in herbal blend formula products.
- Cosmetics & personal care: It can be added to various skin care products, including serums, toners, creams and wash-off masks. It can also be applied in oral care products such as toothpaste and mouthwash.
- Animal health: As a plant-derived raw material, it can be added to health products for livestock, poultry and pets. It can also be compounded in topical products for animal skin care.
