1. National Standard for Plant Extract Production Processes Officially Implemented
GB/T46671-2025, "Technical Specification for Plant Extract Production Processes," officially came into effect on May 1, 2026. This is my country's first basic national standard for plant extract production processes, filling a gap in the industry's full-process production specifications.
Compiled with the participation of the Yunnan Specialty Plant Extract Laboratory of the Betaine Group, it clarifies the technical requirements for the entire process, including raw material pretreatment, extraction, separation and purification, concentration and drying, and packaging.
This marks a new stage in my country's plant extract industry, moving from "unregulated growth" to "standardized development," which will improve the industry's overall quality control level and international competitiveness.

2. Accelerated Standardization of Plant Raw Materials for Cosmetics
The **YY/T10002-2026 "General Technical Requirements for Plant-Derived Raw Materials for Cosmetics," released by the National Medical Products Administration in April, will come into effect on May 1, 2027, providing unified technical specifications for plant raw materials in cosmetics.
Many regions have introduced new raw material incentive policies: for successfully registered new raw materials, the maximum reward is 1 million yuan per registration and 500,000 yuan per filing. A reward of 100,000 yuan will be given to the first registered and filed specialty plant raw materials; an additional reward of 100,000 yuan will be given.
