Agastache Rugosa Extract

Agastache rugosa extract is a natural plant extract refined from the dried aerial parts of Pogostemon cablin or Agastache rugosa O. Ktze. using modern extraction technology. It retains the unique aromatic components and bioactive substances of the original plant. Currently, commercially available patchouli extracts are mainly divided into two categories: patchouli extract and Agastache rugosa extract. They have different origins, both being extracts from Lamiaceae plants, and are the mainstream plant extract categories in the industry. Patchouli is an annual or perennial herb, distributed in most parts of my country and East Asia. In its extraction production, the aerial stems, leaves, and flowers are mainly used as raw materials. Agastache rugosa is mostly herbaceous or semi-shrubby, mainly produced in southern my country, such as Guangdong, Hainan, and Guangxi. In its production, the entire plant is used as the extraction raw material. Depending on the extraction process and the form of the finished product, both types of extracts can be made into volatile oils, aqueous extracts, alcoholic extracts, and concentrated dry powders, with dry powders being the most common product form in the market. They are mostly brownish-yellow to dark brown in color, with the unique, rich aroma of patchouli and a slightly bitter taste.
