Ceramides are extracted from rice bran, the residue removed during rice processing, and from which rice bran oil is extracted. Visually, it is mostly a light white or pale yellow powder. The color may vary slightly between batches, but overall it is very pure and fine. Its taste is also quite unique, with a distinctive grain flavor. It smells natural, without any pungent chemical odor.
Its core active ingredient is neurolipids themselves. Neurolipids are lipids composed of sphingomyelin and fatty acids, including certain types. This substance naturally exists in the stratum corneum of our skin, accounting for 40% to 50% of its composition, acting as a kind of "protective factor" inherent in the skin.
